Bayview Estates is conveniently located in the center of Syracuse, allowing residents to have access to local shopping and dining experiences within a 5-minute drive. The community is located on 400 Harkless Drive, Syracuse, IN 46567 right down the road from CVS pharmacy on Huntington Street.

Community amenities like the playground, pool, clubhouse, and pavilion are just the beginning of the benefits here at Bayview. Residents are also able to utilize the channel located behind the community to access Lake Wawasee and Syracuse Lake, and even have the option to rent out a pier space for a low price! We also provide on-site maintenance for any repairs that need to be made in or around the home.

Community

Syracuse, Indiana is well-known as being the home to the largest natural lake in Indiana, Lake Wawasee. Unlike the majority of other communities in the region, Bayview Estates is pet-friendly because we know that pets are family too! It can be challenging to find a place to live, even with private landlords, that allows pets.

Local Activities

The Syracuse area has a wide variety of activities for residents to enjoy throughout the entire year. Lake Wawasee, as well as Syracuse Lake, are popular tourist attractions and entertain the locals as well. A lot of people enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, hanging out at the sand bar, and water skiing during the summer. In the winter locals enjoy ice fishing and the town’s annual snowmobile drag races.

The most popular dining spots include the Channel Marker, the Down Under (literally located underground), the Sleepy Owl, and the Oakwood Resort Restaurant. Oakwood, the Frog, and Hammers host live music and entertainment regularly for low prices, and sometimes for free! There are also a few boutiques located uptown in the shopping center right next to the local movie theatre for all your shopping needs.

Of course, there are public beaches in this lake town, namely Syracuse Beach and Hoy’s Beach. Syracuse Beach is located right across from the Community Center, which hosts a museum displaying the history of the Chief Wawasee, the Native American chief of the tribe that once lived in Syracuse.
