Location
Tallgrass is located in Coldwater, Michigan along the south central border of Michigan. We are set in the middle of the US Heritage Trail, with access to over a hundred freshwater lakes, a drive-movie theater, and steam engine train rides. Our community is located across the road from the Branch County Fairgrounds on Garfield Ave, close to the Victorian downtown city center with rich history.
Amenities
Our neighborhood offers many amenities to residents such as a playground for children, and a community park with a picnic area, gazebo and basketball court. We also provide full-time maintenance and professional landscaping to the community. The newly remodeled clubhouse is a perfect place to host any event, with a full kitchen and plenty of seating. Tallgrass is also a pet friendly community, which is not always easy to find!
Community
We want you to have a neighborhood with a place to call home, not just an address. Our friendly community staff includes on-site management and maintenance support. We host regular resident activities which bring the community together in our clubhouse.
Our community is expanding, building an additional section to support the growing needs of Coldwater. We have options for home rentals and for home sales.
This area of town is known for its country atmosphere in a quaint small town. But don’t let that fool you, you can be downtown in minutes. We’re close to shopping, great restaurants, and several employment opportunities.

Tallgrass is close to many attractions such as Coldwater Lake, Adventure Zone, Tibbits Opera House, and Capri Drive In Movie Theater, just to name a few. Shopping options include Walmart, Meijer, and several small businesses. We have great restaurants nearby for every palate. Bill’s Steak House, Applebee’s, JT’s Grill, Broadway Grill, and Goodie’s are just a couple of the options for you to indulge your appetite.
